The business growth
Landed in the Caribbean in 2013, and backed by the positive feedback of the local community – which fell in love with our gelato – in 2014 we sealed a deal with international hotel chain Marriott for the supplement of our Gelato inside the Marriott hotel in Grand Cayman.
But this was just the first of many, greater steps. Our expansion continued, and we landed first in Panama (2016) and then in Aruba (2018) – where today there is the shop with the highest ratio revenue/square meter ever within the Marriott group.
While refurbishing the Gran Cayman flagship store to double its size and opening a second shop on the island, we opened our first shop in Katy, Houston (Texas) in December 2018. Later, in August 2019, we opened another branch in the historic Naples 5th Avenue South, the most exclusive area for shopping and dining.
Driven to expand to Colorado, in September 2020, Stefano connected with Dean Barsness and opened a new sleek modern shop in Highlands Ranch, Denver. 2021 was the year of consolidation in Florida, with another flagship store opening in Las Olas Boulevard, in the heart of Fort Lauderdale.
In 2022 we will start a new adventure with the opening of a new Gelato&CO shop at Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach.
