As a founding mind behind Carpigiani, the world’s leading gelato machine manufacturer, Ezio invented the vertical mantecatore, a revolutionary batch freezer that artisans still rely on today for its ability to preserve the authenticity and texture of true Italian gelato.

Finally, there’s Leonardo Ragazzi—the genius behind the recipes. As the creator of Bologna’s iconic Cremeria Funivia, Leonardo saw gelato as more than dessert; it was a tribute to his city.
